Julia Wiedemann is assistant professor in English Literature and co-ordinator of the European Studies programme at the Catholic University of Eichstaett-Ingolstadt. Her PhD thesis was published under the title Literatur- und Wissenschaftssystem von Aldous und Julian Huxley (2018). She has co-edited the volumes Remembering Places: Perspectives from Scholarship and the Arts (2019, with Richard Nate) and Metropolen: Politik – Kultur – Imagination (2014, with Susanna Gaidolfi, Tobias Hirschmüller and Gerhard Wenzl). Currently, she is working on a study entitled Constructions of Englishness: Negotiating the Anglo-Saxon Past in Nineteenth-Century Literary and Historical Discourses.
