Rob Shields, Professor of Human Geography and Henry Marshall Tory Endowed Research Chair at University of Alberta, will give a lecture on “Return of the Frontier (A report from the 49th parallel)” on November 27, 2025, 5:30 pm He was Mercator Fellow at the RTG in 2022 and 2023, and supports the Research Training Group as member of the Associated Faculty.
