Amy Doherty Mohr is a lecturer in American literature for the Department of English and American Studies, LMU Munich. Her publications include analyses of New Orleans fiction, the novels of Harper Lee, the works of Willa Cather, and edited volumes, The Collected Stories of María Cristina Mena, a project of literary recovery, and New Interpretations of Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird and Go Set a Watchman, co-edited with Mark Olival-Bartley. Her current research addresses the roles of place and cultural memory in post-1945 and contemporary literature. Before moving to Munich, she taught at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
