Practicing Place was established in 2021 and will be extended until the 31st of March 2030.<\/p>\n<p>There are many thanks owed to everyone who helped us through the review process for a second funding period and contributed to the successful approval. Our heartfelt appreciation goes to the past and present PhD cohorts, associates, and everyone on our team; the DFG reviewers as well as our invited practice reviewers who gave their time and engaged with our work; and the wider KU community whose commitment to Practicing Place has been invaluable.<\/p>\n<p>You can subscribe to our newsletter (at the bottom right of the page) to keep up to date with our ongoing activities, such as our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.practicing.place\/event\/contesting-place-practices-of-undoing-contesting-place-practices-of-undoing\/\">conference<\/a> next week, and new initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>We can now breathe a collective sigh of relief and celebrate this success!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are thrilled to share the news that our research training group has been approved for a second funding period by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
